By the end of this unit in Accounting Principles, you will be able to critically evaluate the role of accounting information within businesses. Through examining frameworks, looking at examples, and practising, you will gain the ability to create, interpret and analysis financial reports. You will also able to calculate ratios, compare financial success between businesses, and analyse a business's performance on an annual and monthly basis.
This unit also teaches you how to prepare financial reports through the application of accrual based accounting principles. Accounting Principles serves as a great introduction to data-driven decision making.
