This Graduate Certificate in Accounting course covers the fundamental units you'll need to progress your accounting career. With this qualification, you'll satisfy the entry requirements of professional accounting organisations and have the option of applying for your Master of Professional Accounting.
In addition to studying the core units required in this course, you can choose from a range of elective units in order to round out your coursework. Options include auditing, accounting theory and research, legal studies, taxation law and management information systems.

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a nationally recognised Graduate Certificate in Accounting from the University of New England.
This course can act as an entry point for the Master of Professional Accounting course; by itself, it gives graduates the 24 credit points required to satisfy the requirements of professional accounting organisations. With associate membership, graduates are able to pursue professional studies with Chartered Accountants ANZ, CPA Australia or Institute of Public Accountants for full membership.

Eligible students can apply for FEE-HELP to cover the upfront costs of all or part of your fees. Alternatively, you can pay annually for the units you select to study in that year.
The University of New England also offers a number of scholarships to successful applicants.
This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.
