The Graduate Certificate in Public Accounting, offered online via the University of New England (UNE), is your essential educational pathway to obtaining full membership of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).
If you're an Associate IPA members with a TAFE qualifications and experience, or hold a relevant undergraduate degree, this course will give you the tools to progress your accounting career. You'll learn to identify and address issues, make ethical decisions and communicate effectively within the accounting and finance sectors.
This qualification will equip you with the specialised knowledge necessary for professional practise within the Australian accounting sector. Candidates also have the opportunity to pursue studies towards fulfilling the requirements of the Tax Practitioner Board or the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
To be eligible for entry into this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

All applicants must also hold a current financial Associate membership of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).
You may be eligible for advanced standing if your previous education and experience meet certain criteria.
