Through the Master of Economics with the University of New England (UNE), you will gain an advanced understanding of economics whether you have previous qualifications in economics or in an unrelated discipline.
This online or on-campus course is a flexible program focusing on the disciplines of economics, agricultural and resource economics, and econometrics. UNE prides itself on its teaching and research strength in these subjects.

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a nationally recognised Master of Economics from the University of New England.
Graduates of the Master of Economics will have the skills needed to work in government and non-government organisations in fields such as: Economic analysis; Economic and social policy development; Project management or Policy evaluation.
The doctoral program in economics will also be open to those students who achieve strong results and perform well in the research component of the course.

The University of New England also offers a number of scholarships to successful applicants.
This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.
