Like all modern economies, Australia faces a multitude of challenges in both direct and indirect taxation. Taxation Research in Current Topics covers topical issues in Australian taxation challenges.
Provided by a partnership between Open Universities Australia and Curtin University, this unit covers taxation issues at both a state and federal level. You’ll learn to identify, interpret and research the latest taxation issues at both levels. The unit will also develop your skills in analysing and describing those issues with depth and professionalism.
As modern taxation is highly technical, you’ll learn to utilise the relevant technologies to analyse the reliability and veracity of taxation sources and their information.

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.
