About this unit

Architecture Habitation Studio is an online unit provided by Curtin University and Open Universities Australia, which explores the primary components of space, form, structure and material. It will encourage you to explore the relationship between the individual and landscape, and consider how new structures can be created for personal inhabitation within landscapes.

You will learn to use appropriate observation techniques to analyse the body and the natural landscape, and will produce a proposal for inhabiting this space. Using an iterative design process, you will develop a plan for inhabitation in relation to the site and the self.

In addition, you will use two dimensional computer aided designs to create manual perspectives, and create an evocative perspectival image of your design proposition.
