About this unit

Provided by Open Universities Australia and Curtin University, Interior Architecture Technology Driven Design is a core requirement of the Bachelor of Applied Science (Interior Architecture). The online unit will teach you how to apply your existing knowledge of interior architecture when specifying and detailing integrated technological systems.

You will look at technological design systems in detail, analysing their strengths and weaknesses, and proposing improvements. You will also consider how sustainability has become a key value that needs to be integrated into any successful design system. In addition, the unit will also introduce you to effective communication practices that can be used in modelling and documentation.

Interior Architecture Technology Driven Design is assessed through a proposal (40%), an assignment (40%), and a report (20%).
