Urban Design for Sustainability examines the key issues of sustainable transportation, walkability and sustainable urban planning from a practical and design-oriented approach.
This unit will cover the principles, techniques and tools required for successfully implementing sustainable design at the precinct and neighbourhood level, influencing the quality and function of cities.
Offered through Open Universities Australia and Curtin University, this unit involves collaborative work between students to build skills in the discussion, analysis and critique of urban development within a sustainable framework.
