What you'll learn

About this unit

The topic of Australian art is a fascinating one, with the nation's history offering a huge variety of sources to draw inspiration from. This online unit in Australian Art explores the various influences of colonisation, multiculturalism and the legacy of the utterly unique aboriginal art. Each combines to create a highly distinctive contemporary art scene.

Delivered online by Open Universities Australia in partnership with Curtin University, the unit also gives you an opportunity to better understand the supportive role that institutions play, as well as comparable developments on the international stage.
