This Bachelor of Arts course allows you the flexibility to study multiple subjects, providing you with opportunities to build your foundational knowledge in a wide range of different areas.
Direct your studies towards your strengths and interests; majors include languages, psychology, history, philosophy, linguistics, international studies, music, psychology and political studies.
Delivered online or on campus by the University of New England (UNE), this course is the first step in a lifelong journey of learning, building skills that will be useful in a diverse number of career paths.
This course allows you to undertake an optional Honours year for students who would like to extend the depth and breadth of their undergraduate studies. Completing Honours studies helps improve your problem-solving and research skills, and demonstrates a more wide-ranging understanding of your chosen discipline to prospective employers.
High-achieving students with a GPA that meets the eligibility criteria for this course may be able to complete an additional one-year degree program, and graduate with a Bachelor of Arts with Honours.
If plans change, and you can no longer commit to the full Bachelor of Arts, you could still be eligible to receive a qualification. Depending on the credit points you've completed, you could exit with a Diploma in Arts or Advanced Diploma in Arts.
To be eligible for entry into this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

Eligible students can apply for HECS-HELP to cover the upfront costs of all or part of your fees. Alternatively, you can pay annually for the units you select to study in that year.
The University of New England also offers a number of scholarships to successful applicants.
This course can be paid for through the HECS-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.
Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $54,869 (2016-17 income year).Find out more about government study loans here.
