About this unit

The Creativity and Innovation online unit offered by Murdoch University through Open Universities Australia equips students with the knowledge to apply creative thinking and problem solving skills to their profession.

Drawing from a diverse range of disciplinary areas including science, arts, business and engineering, the unit encourages you to think outside the square.

In this unique unit you’ll study the process of innovation, recognising the importance of diversity, the creative problem-solving process, business and entrepreneurship, innovation and ethics, the impact of digital technology and media and complexity theory as well as developing the practical tools to apply these skills in your own business.

Note: Level 2 units normally assume an introductory level of prior knowledge in this area, either from studying related level 1 units or other relevant experience.

This course can be paid for through the HECS-HELP or FEE-HELP government loan schemes. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.
