Studying a Graduate Certificate in Literary Classics program offered by Griffith University will give you the education and training to critically analyse complex literary works and appreciate their authors. From Shakespeare to twentieth century German novels, this course provides you with an in-depth coverage of great texts and great authors, all of which can be studied at your own pace.
Applicants must hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution in order to enrol in this program.
Applicants who have not completed an undergraduate degree but who demonstrate evidence of advanced reading ability, and an existing knowledge base in relevant areas of history and literature, will be considered.
Open Universities courses are offered in specific study intakes every year, known as Study Periods or Sessions. This means more flexibility as you can choose when to start studying.
If you are studying undergraduate units you can start at the beginning of any of the four Study Periods each year, each lasting 13 weeks. Most postgraduate courses are offered in three Sessions per year, with each Session lasting 14 weeks.
Exams are usually held in the week following the end of each Study Period or Session.
