During this unit, provided online by Open Universities Australia and Curtin University, you will learn to evaluate and utilise a range of information technologies. This unit will make you confident in conducting advanced web searches, managing databases, content sharing websites, social media, digital archiving, portals, data manipulation and information security. All of these information technologies can be used both professionally, personally and socially.
Upon completion of the unit, you’ll know how to communicate the efficacy and suitability of various information technologies through scholarly essays, professional reports, multimedia and social media.
