About this unit

This online Web Play, Online Games and Gamification unit from Open Universities Australia and Curtin University analyses the interrelationship of play and game theory practices, and technology and applications.

At the completion of this unit, you will understand the changing role of games and play in contemporary networked culture, and be able to evaluate examples of gaming and gamification in diverse online and cultural settings.

You will also learn about broader spaces and different types of play online, as well as the regional and national specificities of gameplay in Asia, Korea in particular.
