About this course

The Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy offered by the Australian National College of Beauty will give you a range of beauty therapy skills and training to help you begin your career in the beauty therapy industry.

 You will gain skills in the practical elements of treatments such as facials, waxing, massage, tanning, manicures and pedicures, as well as knowledge of the theory behind beauty therapy. You will also gain a basic understanding of anatomy, physiology, the histology of skin and nutrition.

Eligibility

For on campus study, if you are under 18 an interview may be required. You must be 18 years and over to enrol by distance education.

Practical component

The Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy includes short practical workshops on campus to ensure that you graduate with the practical hands-on experience necessary to succeed in the beauty industry. You will also have to attend on-campus workshops for final assessments.
