Offered by Careers Australia, the Certificate III in Carpentry (CPC30211) course equips you with a comprehensive set of skills for pursuing work as a carpenter or joiner. Designed to prepare you for work in both residential and commercial settings, you will learn how to construct wall frames, ceiling frames, pitch roofs, eaves, external stairs, flooring systems, windows, doors and other wooden structures. Through the workshops available on campus, you will learn how to appropriately use carpentry tools and equipment such as explosive power tools, as well as handle carpentry materials in accordance to WHS requirements.
