About this unit

An online undergraduate unit provided by Curtin University and Open Universities Australia, Contract Administration provides an opportunity to utilise authentic industry scenarios to engage in project administration. You will explore topics such as standard forms of contract, insurance bonds, directions and variations and payments and retention.

Successful completion of this unit will develop your abilities to interpret contract conditions and apply them to the administration of construction documents, using computer-aided contract administration software. You will also be able to evaluate project scenarios and suggest actions for contract parties.

This unit is delivered via a range of instructional methods and materials, including online tests, printable format materials, discussion forums, standard media and web links. Assessment takes the form of a case study, an invigilated exam and a test.
