An online undergraduate unit provided by Curtin University and Open Universities Australia, Project Delivery Systems examines a number of project delivery systems used in buildings and infrastructure. You will have an opportunity to apply theories and principles to authentic industry scenarios, and evaluate key issues such as contractual relationships, contract price determination, risks and benefits associated to contract parties, financial methods and more.
On completion of this unit you will have developed the tools to compare and describe a range of processes, risks and benefits associated with project delivery systems, with reference to cultural and international perspectives. You will also be able to suggest suitable delivery systems through evaluation of project conditions, and critically reflect upon project outcomes.
This unit is delivered through a range of learning materials and methods, including discussion forums, glossary, online assignment submission, standard media and web links. Assessment takes the form of weekly group exercises and an invigilated exam.
