Delivered on campus in Melbourne and Perth by the Australian School of Management (ASM), the undergraduate degree is designed to develop your business instincts, and provide you with the expertise to step into leadership and management positions in the services industries.

The course covers core business topics such as marketing, finance, human resources and economics, and also addresses key issues and best practices within the tourism and hospitality industries. Hotel management units include food and beverage, revenue and yield, and even asset and property management.

On completion of this three-year undergraduate degree, you will have the skills and knowledge to pursue a range of management roles in the hotel industry!

In order to apply for entry into this course, you must meet at least one of the following entry requirements:

  • Have successfully completed Year 12 (with ATAR) or equivalent; OR
  • Have satisfactorily completed an approved Tertiary Preparation Program, Tertiary Orientation Program, or a Foundation Year Program offered by an accredited institution; OR
  • Have completed one year of full-time study at an accredited tertiary education institute; OR
  • Mature age entry (21 years of age or over) with at least 3 years' experience in business or hotel management; OR
  • Have achieved a standard of education deemed suitable by the Admissions Manager/Dean

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of degree commencement.

Advanced standing may be available for skills and knowledge obtained through previous study or other relevant experience.

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.
