Studying this Bachelor of Business program through Open Universities Australia will give you the skills and training you need to get ahead in business.
In this broad-ranging business course, you’ll learn the fundamental principles that determine how businesses work, including business law, employment relations, accounting, economics, management, statistics and marketing.
You’ll also have the opportunity to tailor your degree to suit your career direction by majoring in human resources, management or contemporary marketing and narrow your focus further to specialisations in Chinese business, finance or occupational health, safety and environment (OHSE).

In addition to these core units, students will choose 8 units from either human resources, management or contemporary marketing, and 8 units in Chinese business, finance or occupational health, safety and environment (OHSE) specialisations.
Open Universities courses are offered in specific study intakes every year, known as Study Periods or Sessions. This means more flexibility as you can choose when to start studying.
If you are studying undergraduate units you can start at the beginning of any of the four Study Periods each year, each lasting 13 weeks.
Exams are usually held in the week following the end of each Study Period or Session.

This course can be paid for through the HECS-HELP or FEE-HELP government loan schemes. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.
