About this unit

In this Business Analysis and Modelling unit, offered by Open Universities Australia and Swinburne University, you will learn about the complexities of business as demonstrated in a variety of business models.

During this online unit, you will become familiar with a selection of core business models, and will learn to analyse business process needs with a consideration for specific strategies as stipulated in selected business models. Upon completion of the unit, you will be competent in using specific process modelling tools in order to effectively represent an organisation’s processes.

This unit will also delve into the concepts and principles surrounding stakeholder management, and give you an awareness of the relationship between stakeholder management and business analysis. You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the underlying principles of stakeholder management, as well as apply them in a variety of business scenarios. You will also be encouraged to consider ethical issues in relation to stakeholder engagement and management.
