Learn about the role of ethics in the workplace in this Business and Professional Ethics course unit. Delivered online through Open Universities and run by Macquarie University, this unit will cover contemporary business and professional ethics, and the main ethical issues caused by business and employee activity.
You will discuss justice, markets and capitalism, stakeholders and shareholders, corporate social responsibility, labour relations, environmental sustainability and globalisation as you explore the roles and responsibilities of corporations.
In the second half of the unit, you will analyse the duties of a business to its employees, as well as the rights and obligations of the employees, covering topics such as discrimination, loyalty, whistleblowing, privacy, and truth and ethics in advertising.
