In order to apply for entry into this course, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Have language, literacy, numeracy and communication skills to at least Year 10 level. Note: if you cannot read and write documents and complete maths work to the level required you may be accepted into the course, but you may be enrolled in additional subjects to help you build the skills needed to successfully complete the program.
  • Attend a compulsory information session

Recognition of prior learning (RPL) may be available for skills and knowledge obtained through previous study or other relevant experience.

Upon  successful completion of this course you will receive a nationally recognised, accredited Certificate IV in International Trade (BSB41115) from Gordon Institute of TAFE.

You will have the necessary skills to negotiate and coordinate international trade, allowing you to pursue employment as an importer or exporter, trade coordinator or export customer service coordinator.

  • Standard - you meet the eligibility criteria for access to the government subsidised Victorian Training Guarantee (VTG).
  • Concession - you meet the VTG eligibility criteria AND hold a current healthcare or pension card.
  • Full-fee paying/Fee for Service (FFS) - you do not meet the VTG eligibility criteria
