In the online Entrepreneurship and New Business Venturing unit, provided by Griffith University, you will learn marketing skills tailored specifically to small business and start-ups. You will discover the interplay between marketing and entrepreneurship and how to spot a business opportunity, develop a market for a busi-ness and how to manage professional relationships in a competitive business environment. Learning how to work within your budget will also be taught in this unit, and you will be required to complete an oral sales pitch as part of your study. You will also gain an understanding of business strategies, strategic marketing, and human resource management.
There are no prerequisites for this unit; anyone can apply. This unit assumes a moderate level of prior knowledge, obtained from studying related Level 1 and 2 units, or other relevant experience.
