About this course

The University of New England (UNE) has developed a strategic online program to meet the needs of professionals in management roles. The Graduate Certificate in Management offers students opportunities to broaden their skills and knowledge and deepen their understanding of business disciplines.

Students will investigate how these principles embody theory and practice and emerge knowing how to successfully identify, analyse and resolve management issues.

Core units cover the processes of management and organisational behaviour. Listed units explore accounting, finance, economics, HR and marketing topics, as each relates to management.

Eligibility

To be eligible for entry into this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in a non-relevant discipline and have at least two years' management experience in HR management or business management; OR
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (like business or management) and at least two years' work experience; OR
  • Have at least five years of work experience including at least three years in management; OR
  • Have at least four years of relevant work experience and hold an advanced diploma in a relevant discipline from an approved institution; OR
  • Have at least six years of relevant work experience and hold a diploma in a relevant discipline from an approved institution.

Applicants must also submit their resume and two referee reports from employers or senior colleagues.

You may be eligible for advanced standing if your previous education and experience meet certain criteria.
