About this unit

International Strategy, delivered by Open Universities Australia and RMIT University, offers a fascinating look at the complex impacts of globalisation on organisational strategy. You will become familiar with the issues faced by multinational organisations, and will be prepared to collect and analyse data in order to become acquainted with common strategic issues. You will be encouraged to consider ethical issues throughout the unit, with a particular focus on corporate social responsibility.

You will become familiar with the potential effects the external business environment can have on a business, as well as understand how to incorporate this awareness into a strategic plan.

Gain an understanding of a range of business management functions, including operations management, finance, marketing, human resources, and accounting. Upon completion of this online International Strategy unit, you will be capable of using your understanding of these functions to produce competitive solutions to strategic business issues.

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.

Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $54,869 (2016-17 income year).
