About this unit

Completion of this Open Universities Australia and Curtin University unit will help you gain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of operations management, and the core role it plays in organisations across industries. While studying Managing Operations, you will gain an awareness of the variation between operations in accordance with industry type and sector. This unit will also encourage you to consider differences in operations across cultures, and on an international scale.

During this online unit you will discuss the hot topic of sustainability, and gain an understanding of how operations can be designed to incorporate concepts of sustainability in order to promote a competitive advantage.
