About this course
Managing commercially sustainable businesses requires an understanding of rapidly evolving political, social and economic changes, and their impact on organisational systems, growth and sustainability.
The Master of Commerce program will provide you with the concepts, models, frameworks, research and analytical skills to form this understanding and enable you to manage complex business challenges in a constantly changing global environment. It will develop your understanding and expertise in sustainability (commercial, environmental and people-oriented), leadership, management, business decision-making and risk management to build upon your undergraduate education.
In order to enrol in this program you will need to hold a relevant undergraduate degree by a recognised tertiary institution or equivalent.
Open Universities courses are offered in specific study intakes every year, known as Study Periods or Sessions. This means more flexibility as you can choose when to start studying. If you are studying undergraduate units you can start at the beginning of any of the four Study Periods each year, each lasting 13 weeks. Most postgraduate courses are offered in three Sessions per year, with each Session lasting 14 weeks. Exams are usually held in the week following the end of each Study Period or Session.
