About this unit

Research Methods delivers a comprehensive lesson in research techniques relevant to practical industry demands. By studying this unit, you’ll gain an understanding of both qualitative and quantitative methods of research, and how to employ them for different research requirements and industry demands.

During this unit, provided by the Australian Catholic University and Open Universities, you will be taught the importance of research to almost all areas of working life. You will gain an understanding of different research techniques and learn to utilise these methods through practical projects.

By the end of the unit you’ll be confident in employing appropriate research methods for specific work projects. You’ll be able to design both qualitative and quantitative research programs as well as develop in-depth and clear research proposals.

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.
