About this course

Offered by Careers Australia, the Diploma of Events course equips you with the practical skills needed to coordinate, plan and manage a wide range of events from music festivals and sports competitions through to weddings and corporate functions. By dividing the course content into three streams of event styles; general, conference and sport, this course provides the opportunity for you to gain essential training for the specific event type you may wish to specialise in upon graduation.

Across all three streams, you will gain knowledge in budgeting, project management, sponsorship, task coordination, and pitching, as well as the technologies suited for use in the events industry. This course is ideal for those who seek to transform their passion for people and parties into a challenging and fast-paced career.
