About this course

The Diploma of Community Services course (CHC52015) through Upskilled caters for community service workers seeking to formalise their training and work towards more senior roles.

In this hands-on program, students are guided through a series of core competencies, including how to execute community development strategies, conduct client assessments and referrals, manage cases and understand the myriad of sociocultural factors that impact community members.

Work placement

In order to fulfil the requirements of this course, students are required to undertake 240 hours of work placement in a relevant community setting.
