This course is designed to develop your understanding of issues affecting the disability sector in Australia, and will equip you with the skills to identify and resolve legal and business issues that could affect the delivery of client services.

As a graduate of this course, you'll have a strong understanding of the legislative frameworks and legal processes and obligations involved in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).


To be eligible for entry into this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Hold an AQF Level 7 qualification and two years' relevant work experience*; OR
  • Have at least three years of relevant work experience* approved by the course coordinator; AND
  • Submit a referee report from employers of senior colleagues and a resume.

*Relevant disciplines include, but are not limited to, the following: business management; organisational development; health management; human resources.

You may be eligible for advanced standing if your previous education and experience meet certain criteria.

You may be eligible to receive FEE-HELP for this course!

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.

Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $54,869 (2016-17 income year).
