About this course

The Diploma of Graphic Design (CUV50311) course offered by Martin will give you the skills and design portfolio to kick-start your career in graphic design.

Studying this diploma course, you will learn how to use the complete Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash and Acrobat.

You will learn a range of design skills which you will be able to apply to a variety of mediums, including web pages, sales material, signs, newsletters, consumer packaging and corporate identity programs.

To be eligible to enrol in this course, you must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Have completed a Certificate IV in Design, or other relevant qualification; OR
  • Have substantial workplace experience in design, and submit a portfolio of work; AND
  • Provide a copy of your Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (i.e. a Year 12 qualification); OR
  • Demonstrate that you have the capacity to successfully complete this course by achieving an Exit Level 3 score within the Australian Core Skills Framework assessments in reading and mathematics. This will be demonstrated through two short tests as a part of the enrolment process.
