Studying this diploma course, you will learn how to use the complete Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash and Acrobat.
You will learn a range of design skills which you will be able to apply to a variety of mediums, including web pages, sales material, signs, newsletters, consumer packaging and corporate identity programs.

To be eligible to enrol in this course, you must meet the following entry requirements:
Have completed a Certificate IV in Design, or other relevant qualification; OR
Have substantial workplace experience in design, and submit a portfolio of work; AND
Provide a copy of your Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (i.e. a Year 12 qualification); OR
Demonstrate that you have the capacity to successfully complete this course by achieving an Exit Level 3 score within the Australian Core Skills Framework assessments in reading and mathematics. This will be demonstrated through two short tests as a part of the enrolment process.

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a nationally recognised, accredited Diploma of Graphic Design (CUV50311) from Martin.
The course will give you the technical skills and design know-how to pursue work in the industry as a graphic designer, junior art director, brand and identity designer, or an illustration and concept artist. You will also have the skills to work in magazine design, environmental graphic design, advertising, corporate design and packaging.

This course can be paid for through the VET FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.
Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $54,869 (2016-17 income year).
