About this course

Build your graphic design skills from the ground up with this Double Diploma+ course – a groundbreaking program that lets you walk away with two nationally recognised qualifications, with the option to specialise in a complementary field such as website development, digital media technologies or photo imaging.

In this on-campus course through Tractor, you will spend the first year studying the Diploma of Graphic Design, and in your second year choose to complete either a:

  • Diploma of Website Development (ICT50615); or
  • Diploma of Digital Media Technologies (ICT50915); or
  • Diploma of Photo Imaging (CUV50411)

In the last two trimesters of the course you’ll also have the opportunity to be part of Tractor’s unique Accelerator program, designed by some of the top creative minds in the country to push you further and position you as a highly sought after design graduate.

The course has been designed this way to equip students with design fundamentals alongside in-demand technical skills. By learning classic design principles around typography, drawing and software skills and pairing it with an understanding in emerging fields such as UX, UI and web design; you will walk away from this course with a strong portfolio and be able to hit the ground running as a qualified designer.

Applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental consent

AND

  • Hold a Certificate IV in Design or have successfully completed Tractor’s Catapult Course short course.
