About this course

The Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) offered by Swinburne Online through SEEK Learning will equip you with the education and training to launch your career in early childhood teaching.

By learning to respond to diverse and special needs, you will be able to create varied and stimulating learning environments in order to help children get the most out of their education. You’ll gain the skills to engage young children across areas such as visual arts, music, literacy, mathematics and technology.

This course also includes a series of supervised placements, which enable you to apply and sharpen your theoretical knowledge.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • Have completed Year 12, with a minimum ATAR score of 60.00 or equivalent

OR

  • Hold a certificate IV or higher

OR

  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ full-time work experience in a relevant field

A current Working With Children Check is also required.
