About this unit

Understanding the Australian curriculum and how it works is a must for any teacher. This undergraduate teaching unit, Exploring and Contesting Curriculum, will take you through the key terms, alternative models and the socio-cultural perspectives that influence its development and implementation.

By studying this unit, offered online by Curtin University through Open Universities Australia, you will learn how to use curriculum documents for lesson planning. This unit will also take you through the Early Years Learning Framework, and teach you how it defines early learning and school-based curricula.
