About this course

The Graduate Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) program offered by Curtin University will give you the education and training to take your teaching career further. Eligibility

Students are expected to hold a teaching qualification with an assessed practicum component. Applications may be considered from students with an extensive background in teaching and who hold an undergraduate degree successfully completed in English from a recognised university. If the undergraduate degree has been completed in a language other than English, certified transcripts of IELTS results must be included with the application.

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.

Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $54,869 (2016-17 income year).
