Curtin University’s Teachers Inquiring about the World unit, offered online by Open Universities Australia, will familiarise you with the best ways to learn about global social and environmental issues.
By the end of the unit, you will be able to confidently perform a scientific investigation, from identifying a problem at the start all the way through to presenting your findings on completion.
Along the way you will explore efficient and pertinent methodologies of questioning and information collection. This means that once you have identified your problem, you will be better equipped to examine it and draw meaningful conclusions.
While taking the unit, you will be encouraged to explore the learning process with a critical, yet open mind. This will improve your ability to learn and analyse new information.

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.
