Case Studies in Transport is an online unit provided by Open Universities Australia in association with the University of South Australia. The unit’s central function is to allow you to develop a specialised set of skills which enable you to develop effective case studies for later research projects.
The unit works by asking you to a pick a transport system. You will then create a case study around your chosen transport system based on one of two key themes. Firstly, you could choose to explore the interaction between an economic facility and your chosen system. Alternatively, you could discuss a transport system’s relationship with land use.
Ultimately, the unit allows you to develop effective case studies with particular relevance to transport. Successful completion will equip you with the skills you will need for a later research project as part of a Master of Engineering (Civil and Transport).

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.
