Do you have an engineering degree or significant expertise in subsea engineering? Deepen your knowledge and develop the highly specialised skills and knowledge required for working on locating, extracting and transporting offshore energy reserves with this Graduate Diploma in Subsea Engineering.
This on-campus Curtin University course covers offshore oil and gas development and subsea infrastructure. Our subsea engineering courses are designed in close collaboration with industry and include opportunities to complete supervised industry projects providing students with meaningful exposure to the subsea engineering oil and gas industry to help you graduate career-ready.
These courses provide you with an in-depth understanding of areas such as subsea infrastructure, construction maintenance, and more, offering you a unique learning and networking experience.

You may be eligible for Credit for Recognised Learning (CRL) if your previous education or work experience meet certain criteria.
Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a Graduate Diploma in Subsea Engineering from Curtin University.
You can pursue a career with various members of the oilfield industry, including the oil majors, subsea equipment suppliers and service companies.
You also have the option of pursuing further study, such as the Master of Subsea Engineering. Engineers Australia professionally recognises graduates of this master's degree as charted subsea engineers.

Eligible students can apply for a FEE-HELP loan to cover the upfront costs of all or part of your fees.
Alternatively, you can pay annually for the units you choose to study in that year.
Curtin University also offers a number of scholarships to successful applicants.
This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.
