About this course

The Bachelor of Sustainability offered online or on campus by the University of New England (UNE) will equip you with the education and training to understand and implement social and community sustainability as well as ecologically sustainable development. This interdisciplinary degree provides a unique opportunity to develop a holistic understanding of sustainability that integrates social science with environmental science.

In this online sustainability course, you have the option of completing one major in Ecological Resilience or Social Resilience, or a combined major incorporating both areas. You will develop a strong foundation in all areas of sustainability by studying a wide variety of subjects including environmental management, climate change, geography, law, psychology, economics and environmental policy, as well as a range of electives.

Eligibility

It is recommended that you have knowledge of any two units of English and mathematics.

Areas of study

You will complete a major in Environmental Resilience or Social Resilience, or a combined major in Environmental and Social Resilience. The subjects you will study include:
