Australian Catholic University’s Principles of Environmental Management unit, offered online by Open Universities Australia, will teach you exactly what constitutes an environment and how to provide care for it.
The first half of the unit explores concepts that help define different environments. This includes topics such as ecosystems, biodiversity, climate change and greenhouse gases.
After you become familiar with these ideas, you will obtain a bigger overall view of environments by discussing how they are developed. Legislation, standards, risk assessment and auditing will all be covered in relation to environments.
The unit is a component of the OHSE management major.
Anyone can apply, although you should ensure you have not already completed a unit that is considered academically equivalent.
