About this course

The online Master of Financial Services program offered by the University of New England (UNE) provides you with the education and training to launch your career in financial services.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this program, students must satisfy the following criteria:

• Hold a three-year degree or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the school as sufficient qualification for admission to candidature.

OR

• Hold the UNE Graduate Certificate in Financial Services or other graduate certificate as approved by the Director of the Graduate School of Business, with a minimum credit grade average.

OR

• Hold the UNE Graduate Diploma in Financial Services or other graduate diploma as approved by the Director of the Graduate School of Business.

Practical work experience

The Master of Financial Services includes work related components to ensure that you graduate with a strong mix of practical work experience and academic foundation. These components involve simulated client interviews and writing reports based on the interviews, analysing simulated clients' financial needs, preparing risk profiles and writing financial plans.
