About this unit

This online Wealth Creation and Protection unit from Open Universities Australia and RMIT University teaches students about the administration of deceased estates and the uses and applications of powers of attorney, in the context of identifying estate planning issues as part of the financial planning process.

At the completion of this unit, you will understand income and growth characteristics, and risk and return in different investment asset classes. You will also be able to assess a client's risk profile and use this information to recommend appropriate asset allocations and construct retail client portfolios.
