Earning your Certificate III in Fitness (SIS30313) is the first step to becoming a qualified gym instructor. Your time during this course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to become employable within Australia's dynamic fitness industry.
This course covers vital areas of knowledge and teaches you key competencies such as undertaking client health assessments, helping clients apply nutrition and health management strategies, and planning fitness programs. You will also gain a foundational understanding of exercise science, be trained to maintain sport and fitness equipment, and learn how to instruct and supervise small group classes.
In addition to it's on campus study method, FIAFitnation's Certificate III in Fitness is available online, giving you the opportunity to become qualified from the comfort of your own home.
Flexible study modes
This course offers a number of flexible delivery modes that can be tailored around your lifestyle. Options include:
Full-time: Three days a week with classes held from 8.30am-3pm.
Full-time (evenings): Two evenings a week with classes held from 6.30-9.30pm, plus one practical weekend.
Full-time (weekends): Classes held every Saturday from 9.30am-4pm, plus two Sunday classes.
Online: Choose to study at your own pace, or complete a part-time or full-time course load. You will have up to 6 months to complete your studies.

To be eligible to enrol in this course, you must meet the following entry requirements:
Have successfully completed Year 10 in Australia or equivalent; OR
Demonstrate that you have the capacity to successfully complete this course by achieving an Exit Level 3 score within the Australian Core Skills Framework assessments in reading and mathematics.

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a nationally recognised, accredited Certificate III in fitness (SIS30313) from FIAFitnation.
