Eligibility

Applicants must also meet the criteria to be eligible for this program:

  • Have completed Year 10 or equivalent

OR

  • Hold a relevant qualification

OR

  • Have relevant vocational experience.

Practical industry work experience

The Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Physiotherapy) includes a work placement component to ensure that you graduate with a strong mix of practical work experience and academic foundation.

The requirements of this course include a minimum of 160 hours in an appropriate environment such as a hospital, private practice, aged care facility, rehabilitation centre, community health facility, NGO health centre, sports medicine facility, primary health practice or volunteer organisation centre. Your nominated supervisor should be a physiotherapist.
