Practical industry work experience

The Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Podiatry) HLT42512 includes a work placement component to ensure that you graduate with a strong mix of practical work experience and academic foundation.

The requirements of this course include a minimum of 160 hours in an appropriate environment such as a hospital, private practice, aged care facility, rehabilitation centre, community health facility, NGO health centre, sports medicine facility, primary health practice or wellness centre. Your nominated supervisor should be a qualified podiatrist or podiatry assistant.
