About this course

Study the Certificate IV in Dental Assisting course through Foundation Education and gain the skills to become a dental assistant. You'll have the opportunity to choose a specialty from radiography, oral health or practice management, or double your clinical and administrative expertise and combine either oral health or radiography with practice management.

Practical component

Students are required to locate a dental practice in which to complete 120 of work placement hours. Existing experience in a dental environment may count towards the required practical hours, when proof of work is provided by your employer.
