About this course

The online Diploma of Health Science course offered through SEEK Learning and delivered in partnership with the Australasian College of Natural Therapies will provide you with a comprehensive overview of health care.

The course will also provide you with a fundamental understanding of health sciences through subjects such as anatomy and physiology, bioscience and social sciences.

To provide a holistic framework of the industry, you can also study non-traditional medicinal approaches through electives such as naturopathy, nutritional medicine and western herbal medicine.


To be eligible for enrolment, you must have meet the following entry criteria:

  • Complete Year 12 with an ATAR of 56 or equivalent; OR
  • A completed diploma level course; OR
  • Demonstrated ability through relevant work experience or similar

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a nationally recognised, accredited Diploma of Health Science from the Australasian College of Natural Therapies.

Upon graduation, you will have the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to launch a career in the field of health sciences. You will be able to apply for roles in the following areas:

  • Complementary medicine
  • Retail

You may be eligible to receive a FEE-HELP loan to pay for the upfront costs of this course.

Alternatively, the following payment options are also available:

  • Payment plans: Eligible students may be able to pay for this course through weekly, fortnightly and monthly repayments. This flexible payment plan does not require a deposit and involves no interest for the first 12 months. After this period, students will be charged 19.95% per annum on the amount that remains to be paid.

  • Upfront payment: Pay for this course upfront via credit card or bank transfer.

You may be eligible to receive FEE-HELP for this course!

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.

Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $54,869 (2016-17 income year).
