About this course

Learn all about managing a health practice from WHS management, billing and accounting systems to quality assurance and managing budgets - all within the context of a healthcare environment. Work placement

This course includes 75 hours of mandatory work placement, which is to be completed within a suitable healthcare practice. Students are responsible for securing their own work placement, however, Ivy College will assist students in finding a suitable location, if required.

Eligibility

To enrol in diploma and advanced diploma courses with Ivy College, you will need the ability to read and write English to at least Year 12 level.

To show evidence of this ability, you will need to have satisfied the following:

  • During the enrolment process, demonstrate that you have the skills and capability to succeed in the course at least to the level of Year 12 by providing a copy of your Australian year 12 certificate, or completing the Diploma Entry Test.

All students are also required to have a unique email address and access to a computer with an internet connection.

This course can be paid for through the VET FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, this means you don’t need to pay upfront.
